The Ala'suinu'k Performing Arts Foundation—named for the Mi’kmaw word meaning “travellers”—was established to support emerging and pre-professional artists across Newfoundland and Labrador. Grounded in principles of inclusion, mentorship, and collaboration, the foundation is dedicated to creating accessible, high-quality performance and training opportunities in dance and musical theatre.
Founded in 2025, Ala'suinu'k is committed to nurturing young artists not only as performers, but as storytellers and collaborators. Through partnerships with local organizations, including Nomad Stages, the foundation builds bridges between artists, communities, and cultures—empowering the next generation to grow with confidence and purpose.
